On Film Only Weekly Talents #HasselbladXpan
For this second Weekly Talent I want to give an homage to my favorite film camera ever: The Mighty Hasselblad Xpan!
Whenever I have to answer the “desert island camera question”, my mind tells me to go for a mechanical camera but my heart always chooses the Xpan.
The panoramic aspect ratio gives an immersive perspective that instantly catches attention and makes you want to explore all the element inside the frame. True that composing with such a wide frame requires a little practice, but once you start seeing the world in panoramic it’s a fantastic tool that can help you creating powerful images.
After exploring the #xpan hashtags and following your recommendations on Instagram, I came up with a selection of the 15 inspiring images that should finish to convince you that the Hasselblad Xpan is the best film camera ever made. Period.
